Mountlake Terrace, Wa Park and Ride to close temporarily during renovation starting December 15th!
Thinking about buying a house in this Seattle suburb?
There are amazing things happening with the Mountlake Terrace Park in Ride..Construction will begin on a new four story five level parking facility in the lower level of the current Park N Ride. The upper lot will also be renovated to add additional parking as well. The result will be a capacity for 890 cars which is about double of what the two lots together can take currently.
The parking structure is set to be completed in the first quarter of 2009 and then shortly after that even bigger improvements will happen. Construction will then take place to complete a state of the art transit island in the median of I-5 with a bridge across to the parking structure. The entire project is going to have a phenomenal effect on the quality of commuting from the Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood, and Brier, Wa areas and residents should take notice!
During construction, many of the bus routes will still be running and transit has arranged interim parking spaces throughout the greater downtown Mountlake Terrace area. A map of interim parking spaces and bus route pick up locations is available at http://www.communitytransit.org/download/MLTmapforweb.pdf.
What does this mean to real estate in the area?
With this kind of infrastructure going in to a community, you want to invest in the surrounding real estate! Make the investment now before people catch on! Mountlake Terrace has a comprehensive plan which is pretty phenomenal in coming years and the days of it being overlooked as an attractive investment in real estate are coming to an end.

About Me:
Seattle real estate has been a big part of my life for well over a decade since I began my career in real estate, but also before that time when I was in the process of purchasing my own first home. Buying your first home can be quite overwhelming, but I have managed to help many first time home buyers along the way.
Move up Seattle buyers and other types of specialized purchasing is a great passion of mine! I love Seattle houseboats and you can find me down on the docks of Lake Union and Portage Bay several times a week. Other aspects of Seattle real estate that I adore include Queen Anne Real Estate,Wallingford Real Estate, Ballard Real Estate, Green Lake Real Estate, Laurelhurst Real Estate, Magnolia Real Estate, andSeattle Waterfront Real Estate.
In addition to being a Seattle residential broker and founder of Cooper Jacobs & Seattle Afloat, I am also a member of CBA (Commercial Brokers Association) and head of the Cooper Jacobs Commercial Division in an effort to provide excellent commercial real estate services to the Seattle commercial real estate industry. With a background in accounting and management, it is my great pleasure to coordinate our Seattle commercial brokers.
