Seattle, WA Real Estate: Seattle Suburb: Brier Neighborhoods are all connected for safety....

Recently the Edmonds school district temporarily closed a walking trail behind Mountlake Terrace High School.  The trail is a vital transportation route for many students who live in both Brier and Mountlake Terrace and keeps them off of more congested streets.  Apparently there was some concern over the lack of supervision for students in these areas and whether or not the trails were being used properly.  Angry parent Seattle real estate, mountlake terrace wa real estate, brier wa real estates were told that the City of Brier was responsible for closing the gates and the city thought that maybe it was the Mountlake Terrace Police or the high school itself.  After many phone calls, it was discovered that it definitely was the school district and there was a definite lack of due process which occurred.

The school district failed to realize one of the key reasons why so many people had moved to these neighborhoods and that was the fabulous system of interconnecting walking trails!  All of the neighborhoods around Brier Elementary, Cedar Way Elementary, Brier Middle School, and Mountlake Terrace High School connect by trails so that the children in those areas do not have to walk on busy and congested streets to get to their schools and back home.  It is a brilliant system and also amazing for fitness walkers or just casual outdoor enthusiasts.  Cutting off the trail to the high school through Castle Crest 2 was a poor decision and one that the school district quickly remedied!

About Me:

Seattle real estate has been a big part of my life for well over a decade since I began my career in real estate, but also before that time when I was in the process of purchasing my own first home.  Buying your first home can be quite overwhelming, but I have managed to help many first time home buyers along the way.

Move up Seattle buyers and other types of specialized purchasing is a great passion of mine!  I love Seattle houseboats and you can find me down on the docks of Lake Union and Portage Bay several times a week.   Other aspects of Seattle real estate that I adore include Queen Anne Real Estate,Wallingford Real EstateBallard Real EstateGreen Lake Real EstateLaurelhurst Real EstateMagnolia Real Estate, andSeattle Waterfront Real Estate.

In addition to being a Seattle residential broker and founder of Cooper Jacobs & Seattle Afloat, I am also a member of CBA (Commercial Brokers Association) and head of the Cooper Jacobs Commercial Division in an effort to provide excellent commercial real estate services to the Seattle commercial real estate industry.  With a background in accounting and management, it is my great pleasure to coordinate our Seattle commercial brokers.
