Seattle Sale in Broadview!
I recently had a really great experience with some wonderful Seattle real estate clients I have been looking with for a while now. They found me on the internet and had been through the ringer with other agents prior to checking me out on my blog here. Clients that find you on the internet generally need a bit more from you in the form of hand holding because they don't know you or trust you in most cases. The only exception to that is if they have been reading your blog posts - this is why blogging on Active Rain is so important as a great step in building trust and displaying your qualities to a potential client. These particular buyers found me on my own company website, but I know that my rankings are higher because of Active Rain so I still attribute any success there. I am so thankful to have met such a nice couple!
These Seattle buyers had been looking in all the great Seattle neighborhoods for a Seattle home - Ballard, Green Lake, Phinney Ridge, and more. We even looked at some great properties in the Greenwood bog area, but we ended up finding the most wonderful gem in the neighborhood of Broadview. We were there right on day one of the listing and my buyers absolutely knew when we walked in that this house was "the one". I love it when that happens!
Some of the things they liked about working with me and why they ultimately decided to go with me: I was there when they needed it - any time an MLS popped up that caught some interest we were there! They liked that I can pull up listings on the fly with my Smart Phone and they liked that I could give them information. For instance, these buyers saw a great house right in the Greenwood Bog, but they didn't know anything about it. I pulled up some of my older blog posts and sent them off to them. While they agreed with me that the City of Seattle is definitely addressing the issues there, they didn't want to buy a house in the bog.
When it came down to getting this house for them we had to be very quick as it was competitively priced and there were some other agents with shark looks in their eyes circling. I had paperwork in the back of my car and we quickly wrote up a strong offer - careful not to let anyone who may have passed by notice our interest or our contract paperwork. I wanted to get them this house with no multiple offers! Long story short we got it! Inspection went great and we are on our way to escrow!

About Me:
Seattle real estate has been a big part of my life for well over a decade since I began my career in real estate, but also before that time when I was in the process of purchasing my own first home. Buying your first home can be quite overwhelming, but I have managed to help many first time home buyers along the way.
Move up Seattle buyers and other types of specialized purchasing is a great passion of mine! I love Seattle houseboats and you can find me down on the docks of Lake Union and Portage Bay several times a week. Other aspects of Seattle real estate that I adore include Queen Anne Real Estate,Wallingford Real Estate, Ballard Real Estate, Green Lake Real Estate, Laurelhurst Real Estate, Magnolia Real Estate, andSeattle Waterfront Real Estate.
In addition to being a Seattle residential broker and founder of Cooper Jacobs & Seattle Afloat, I am also a member of CBA (Commercial Brokers Association) and head of the Cooper Jacobs Commercial Division in an effort to provide excellent commercial real estate services to the Seattle commercial real estate industry. With a background in accounting and management, it is my great pleasure to coordinate our Seattle commercial brokers.
