Seattle Real Estate: Minor Facelift For Your Seattle Washington Home

beforeLooking for a great way to update your Seattle Washington area home?

How about this?

New insulated garage doors are not only more energy efficient, but also just completely change the facade of a house!  This is a typical 1990's home with the horrible, heavy, dangerous, and loud original garage doors.

Seattle homes can offer much better street appeal than this!  It doesn't look awful, but obviously dated and begging for a makeover.

Enter the home face lift:

Insulated garage doors let light in through seattle real estatewindows and keep the garage cool in summer and warmer in winter.  I have seen this remodel done all over Seattle neighborhoods and suburbs and on most age homes, it is with spectacular results!

New garage doors vary in price depending on fanciness and materials.  Email me if you need some recommendations for vendors.  It is a great way to update your Seattle real estate!

Seattle Real Estate: Exploring Northgate

seattle neighborhoodsSeattle's Northgate neighborhood has a lot to offer a home buyer. Northgate has a college, a hospital, restaurants, and shopping, among other things.

Although I have been told Northgate Mall was on of the first or maybe even the first malls in America, it was becoming a bit run down until recently.  The owners of Northgate Mall are the same owners of Alderwood Mall and both shopping centers have been undergoing a major face lift!  The result is an improved shopping experience for all!  What else?  Target moved in a few years ago, plus there is California Pizza Kitchen, Azteca, and The Olive Garden....

What about the houses?

Northgate offers everything from townhomes and condos to new construction houses or some of Seattle's classic originals.  There are homes for almost all price ranges in Northgate and it is central to commuting North, South, or East.  Access to I-5 is convenient and bus lines are easy to find no matter where you are going.  The Northgate Park and Ride is located just South of the Northgate Mall and has an easy on ramp right into the express lanes of I-5 towards downtown Seattle.  Nearby neighborhoods include  Shoreline, Maple Leaf, Lake City, Greenwood, and Green Lake.
