Shoreline is looking to the future at many issues for this wonderful Seattle suburb - transportation, health access, and moving towards an overall environmentally friendly city way of thinking. Here are some of the highlights and another reason why this town might be a great place to live:
One of the goals for the city of Shoreline, Washington is to "create an environmentally sustainable community" - the city is looking at a tree retention policy (sound like Lake Forest Park?), updating their storm water standards. In addition, Shoreline's other green goals? Hire a Green Team, measure progress, and look into energy and climate change policies.

I think this is an excellent start and hope to read about much more in coming months about Shoreline making moves to go green!
