Mark Osaki

Elaine Sandbeck is the Branch Manger for the Cooper Jacobs Real Estate branch office and she has always been able to provide the best of the best - this applies for friends, clients, and co-workers.  Elaine was the obvious choice as our Branch Manager and I am surprised that she did not already have the job in the past somewhere else due to her attention to detail and ability to get the job done.  She comes from Windermere with a decade of experience and history of excellence.

She is selfless when it comes to helping others and willing to be there every minute for all of our brokers.

Here are some of the wonderful people who have decided to join us recently:

JulieMark Osaki comes from Windermere Real Estate and brings with him almost eight years of successful experience - he is a great guy and we are thrilled to have him on our team.

Julie Berg Kimerer is an extremely talented and friendly broker  - she currently has an amazing Seattle view property listing in Cedar Park overlooking Lake Washington.

Nancy Small has great experience in home remodels and other home improvement.  We are thrilled to have her on board as she works with another of my most favorite people, Therese Byrne.Nancy

Muriel Lawty is a seriously green Seattle broker who comes to us from Better Homes & Gardens with an extreme knowledge base of green living and green real estate.  Cooper Jacobs is a member of Built Green so we are excited to have someone on the team who wants to focus on really bringing out the green in us.

MurielMichael J Good has long been one of my favorite real estate brokers and a good friend to boot.  He brings with him over two decades of experience of both being a broker, but he also was the assistant manager at Windermere for many years.  I have nothing but respect for him and he is a good guy on top of that.

Thanks to everyone above for being such a wonderful force in the industry.  I count myself to be one of the most fortunate people to work with some of the most special and talented people I have met.  I am thankful every day for it.

About Me:

Seattle real estate has been a big part of my life for well over a decade since I began my career in real estate, but also before that time when I was in the process of purchasing my own first home.  Buying your first home can be quite overwhelming, but I have managed to help many first time home buyers along the way.

Move up Seattle buyers and other types of specialized purchasing is a great passion of mine!  I love Seattle houseboats and you can find me down on the docks of Lake Union and Portage Bay several times a week.   Other aspects of Seattle real estate that I adore include Queen Anne Real Estate,Wallingford Real EstateBallard Real EstateGreen Lake Real EstateLaurelhurst Real EstateMagnolia Real Estate, andSeattle Waterfront Real Estate.

In addition to being a Seattle residential broker and founder of Cooper Jacobs & Seattle Afloat, I am also a member of CBA (Commercial Brokers Association) and head of the Cooper Jacobs Commercial Division in an effort to provide excellent commercial real estate services to the Seattle commercial real estate industry.  With a background in accounting and management, it is my great pleasure to coordinate our Seattle commercial brokers.

Don Draper's Guide To Picking Up Women

A little off topic, but I could not resist! I don't consider myself to be a "sales" person, but I absolutely love Don Draper from AMC's Mad Men. This bit was from SNL and is quite wonderful if you are a fan of the show.

I think Don Draper would be an excellent Seattle Realtor and if he would ever like to leave Sterling Cooper and come to Cooper Jacobs, I would love to have him. If by chance, you are interested in Seattle real estate, Don Draper, please call me!

My Northwest Color! My favorite Things... Am I a Weirdo?

I know I am weird - I like washed up bumpers and buoys and I like random mismatched canoe paddles.  I love random old waterskis.  I wanted to share:

seattle real estateI love this scene - I pass it quite often when I drive through Sand Point in Seattle and up North to Mathews Beach.  This is on a roof overlooking Lake Washington at Magnuson Park.

I think they are just beautiful!

Maybe this might help you see why I like them.  I apologize for the quality of this picture.  The sun was blazing through and this was taken on my cell phone at our beach house in Ocean Shores WA.  My genius husband managed to fashion a head board out of my random treasured water skis from Ebay! I already own a couple waterski chairs I bought from my wonderful friend Dick in Florida and I think this headboard is just perfect!  My love of waterskis must stem from my childhood days of waterskiing alongside alligators in the muddy rivers of Mississippi and also in the Gulf Coast waters of both Mississippi and Alabama.  The result?  I am obsessed:)

This photo doesn't do the chair justice, but I just had to share anyway!

My obsession with Buoys and bumpers is a biggie, too.............

Should I seek help for my love of color?  This last photo is from Bainbridge Island and includes some amazing finds....
